Sulphuric Acid is derived by the DCDA process i.e. combustion of elemental Sulphur dioxide then catalytic oxidation to form SO2 to SO3. After cooling SO3 to 200 º C, it is absorbed in acid to form oleum. This oleum is diluted to get 98% Sulphuric Acid.
